Four!

Four!

Two random conversations with Elle

Elle: It’s hard to see because of the sunset.
J: Yes, but there’s sun. And that’s the important thing. The sun makes me happy.
Elle: The sun makes me happy. The sun makes Jesus happy, too.

Elle: I don’t like Spongebob.
J: No?
Elle: But Spiderman is awesome. Batman is awesome, too.

There’s something on our roof. There’s ice pickles! — Elle, referring to some newly formed icicles.

Is it me, or is Elle rockin’ kind of a homeless hipster chic this holiday season?

Elle made many cute Thanksgiving-related things at her pre-school, but this Monty Python-esque turkey takes the cake. It reads:
I’m thankful Grandma and Grandpa help me to be safe.
I’m thankful for my blue balloon.
I’m thankful when I get to go to Walmart. They have popcorn chicken there.
I’m thankful that I can do jumping jacks and play babies.
That’s a pretty great list, don’t you think?

Since I was going to be out of town for Elle’s 3rd birthday, I took her to lunch a few days before. When we got to the dessert portion of the event, I noticed she was really getting into it. Here, then, is a quick video demonstrating how my beautiful little Elle gets so messy.

Elle’s got a unique way of eating NERDS. (There’s a Nerd Herd joke here somewhere, but I’m too tired to find it right now.)
