The plan was simple: get up, get to Spokane to find the Target (for the sanity of my wife), visit the Apple Store (to get my iPod fixed), and see the Spokane Temple (for future reference). Then we’d scoot right over to Coeur d’Alene to see the town, let the kids play, and complete the loop to be home for dinner.
What were we thinking, making plans like that? Three out of four ain’t bad, but between getting lost plenty, Christina getting pee’d on by Nathan, a side trip to a Spokane park, Amber getting pukey sick (she got Christina’s shoes), and us driving through Coeur d’Alene in the dark only to get home after 9:30pm (and did I mention Amber puked again—all over the van—about 15 miles from the house?), it was a little more day that we were expecting.
Heh. The kids had fun, though. Amber declared Spokane’s Riverfront Park “the best place ever!” I figure we’ll give it a weekend or two off, then head up to give Coeur d’Alene another shot.
